The small printHost Terms
Last updated: 3 November 2026
These terms are the agreement between Brunch Club Limited (company no. 17354469, registered office Unit 7 Victoria Enterprise Estate, Victoria Avenue, Peacehaven, BN10 8HJ), trading as Bottomless Brunch Club (“the Club”, “we”, “us”), and the business that runs a brunch we list (“the host”, “you”). They apply from when you apply to be listed and agree to them, and cover every brunch, date and ticket we list or sell for you.
1. What the Club does
1.1 We list your brunch on bottomlessbrunchclub.com and sell tickets for it to guests, as your agent. You are the event organiser: the contract to attend the brunch is between the guest and you, and our role is to take the booking and the payment on your behalf.
1.2 We show guests who the organiser is on every brunch page, booking and email, along with the details you give us.
1.3 We may also promote your brunch on our social media, in emails to people who have asked to hear from us, and in adverts.
2. Your listing
2.1 You give us accurate, up-to-date details: what the brunch includes, the venue and its address, times, packages and prices, food and allergy information, age limits, access information and your changes and refunds policy. Tell us straight away if anything changes.
2.2 You confirm you have the right to let us use your business name, logo, photos and descriptions, and you let us use them (free of charge, for as long as we list you and for a reasonable time after) to list and promote your brunch.
2.3 We may edit your listing’s words to fit our website, but we won’t change what you’re offering without your agreement.
3. Dates, places and prices
3.1 You set the ticket price for each package and the number of places on each date that the Club can sell (“your places”). You can add dates and change your places on your host page; we can also do this for you.
3.2 You must keep your places available for Club guests until the date, or until you reduce them on your host page. Reducing your places never cancels tickets already sold.
3.3 You must honour every ticket sold through the Club. In the rare case that a date is oversold (for example, two guests paying for the last places at the same moment), you will do your best to seat everyone and we will help.
3.4 Guests pay a booking fee to the Club on top of your ticket price. This is ours and is shown to guests before they pay.
4. Running the brunch
4.1 You run the brunch as described in your listing, safely, and in line with the law. This includes: the right premises licence or event notice; food hygiene and allergen rules (you must be able to tell guests what allergens are in the food and drink you serve); health and safety; checking ages for alcohol (for example Challenge 25) and serving alcohol responsibly; and any rules that apply to performers, music and the venue.
4.2 You hold public liability insurance of at least £5 million (and employer’s liability insurance if you employ staff), and will show us proof if we ask.
4.3 You treat Club guests in the same way as your other guests.
5. Commission and payment
5.1 We keep a commission on each ticket we sell: the percentage agreed with you and shown on your host page, of the ticket price (not including the booking fee).
5.2 We pay you the ticket price less our commission (“your share”) for each date after it has happened, within 7 days, by bank transfer to the account you give us, with a statement. Once your Stripe account is connected to the Club, your share may instead be paid to you automatically when each guest pays.
5.3 Your host page shows every ticket sold, our commission and what we owe you.
5.4 You are responsible for any VAT and tax due on your ticket sales. Our commission is shown without VAT; if we become VAT registered, we will add VAT to it.
5.5 We may hold back money from your share to cover refunds and card disputes for that brunch (see section 6), and will tell you when we do.
6. Changes, cancellations and refunds
6.1 Guests can ask for changes and refunds under your changes and refunds policy, which we show on your listing and in their booking email. We deal with these requests for you, and check with you where your policy needs your decision.
6.2 If you cancel or move a date, you must tell us as soon as you can, and at least 7 days before where possible. Guests on a cancelled date get a full refund, including the booking fee, unless they choose to move to another date. You are not paid your share for refunded tickets, and we will not keep commission on tickets refunded because you cancelled.
6.3 If a guest disputes a card payment (a “chargeback”) because of the brunch itself (for example, it did not happen or was not as described), the disputed amount comes off your share. We will send you the details and you will help us respond.
6.4 If a guest complains to us about the brunch, we will pass it to you and you will deal with it fairly and promptly.
7. Guests’ personal information
7.1 We share with you what you need to run each booking: the guest’s name, booking reference, number of guests, package, contact details and any dietary or allergy notes.
7.2 We and you are each separately responsible for the personal information we each hold, under UK data protection law. You will only use guests’ information to run their booking, keep it secure, delete it when you no longer need it, and not use it for marketing unless the guest has agreed to hear from you directly.
7.3 Tell us straight away if you think guests’ information has been lost or seen by someone it shouldn’t have been.
8. Our standards
8.1 We hand-pick the brunches we list. We may pause or remove your listing (and stop selling your dates) if we receive serious or repeated complaints, if there is a safety concern, if you break these terms, or if your details are out of date. We will tell you why.
8.2 Tickets already sold stay valid unless we agree otherwise with you, and you must still honour them.
9. Responsibility
9.1 You are responsible for the brunch itself, your venue, staff, food, drink and performers. You will cover the Club for any claims, losses or costs that arise because of your brunch or because you break these terms.
9.2 We are responsible for taking bookings and payments properly and paying you your share. Apart from what we owe you under section 5, our total responsibility to you in any 12 months is limited to the commission we received from you in that time.
9.3 Nothing in these terms limits either side’s responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
10. Ending the agreement
10.1 Either of us can end this agreement by giving 30 days’ notice by email. We can end it straight away if you seriously break these terms.
10.2 Tickets sold before the end must still be honoured, and we will still pay you your share for them.
11. General
11.1 We may update these terms by emailing you at least 30 days before the change. If you don’t agree, you can end the agreement before the change takes effect.
11.2 Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control.
11.3 These terms are the whole agreement between us about the Club, together with anything we agree with you in writing (such as your commission).
11.4 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute.
